The San Antonio Food Bank’s The Great Turkey Challenge 5K is a chip-timed 5k Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning to help fight hunger in our community. Every $15 generated by the race helps provide a turkey dinner to a family in need this holiday season.

This event has something for everyone: an enjoyable morning stroll to keep the calories at bay; a chip-timed race for the more competitive runners, a pet-friendly portion of the event for our canine friends – and is now one of a very few races allowed to run through King William and on the Riverwalk. It is also the perfect way to help us close our 1 million pound goal for the Food 4 SA campaign during November.

Only $30 to walk/run until 10/31/16, $35 until 11/22/16, $40 day of registration. Plus kids under 12 are always FREE, sign up today & bring the family! Online registration cuts off at midnight on November 21st.

Please register for all runners/walkers 12 years or older online, and simply fill out a paper registration form at registration on Race Day for those under 12.

Please note that kids under the age of 12 will not receive a tech shirt but all of them will receive a ribbon at the finish line!
