Races in Old Town Helotes are BACK!!
Corn has always played an important role in the heritage of Helotes. Dating back to local Native Americans that planted “maize” to present time planting of those delicious golden nuggets we all enjoy. The town name is derived from the Spanish word “elote,” so on May 15th, come and get your morning 5k in and enjoy all things “corn.”
