On Saturday, June 19, 2027, Urban Run Club SATX proudly presents its inaugural Juneteenth 5K in San Antonio.
For the last couple of years, Urban Run Club SATX has partnered with Juneteenth organizers to support events that bring our community together through movement and celebration. In 2027, we’re taking the next step by creating a Juneteenth experience of our own.
This race is the beginning of a new tradition we hope our community will continue to build, grow, and look forward to every year.
Whether you’re an experienced runner, training for your first 5K, walking with family and friends, or simply looking for a new way to celebrate Juneteenth, there’s a place for you here.
Join us on June 19, 2027, for the inaugural Urban Run Club SATX Juneteenth 5K and help us create a tradition where together, we’ll celebrate freedom, resilience, community, and the US history that brought us here.
Proceeds benefit Urban Run Club SATX, a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your support helps us continue offering free and low-cost programs and events that make running, wellness, and community more accessible, particularly to those who may not see themselves as the typical runner or are new to running.
Awards:
Top 3 Overall Male/Female, and 1st – 3rd age group winners.
Age Groups: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Pricing:
5K, 2 Mile Walk and Virtual:
$25 on 9/1/26. Price goes up $5 per month until we reach $45.
$50 on race day.
Kids Ages 4-11 – $10 with paid adult (There’s an option to purchase a shirt $10)
Kids Ages 3 and under – Free with paid adult
