Stand up for survivors of domestic violence and let their voices be heard! Join Kendall County Women’s Shelter at our 12th Annual Heal the Soul 5k to support survivors of domestic violence.
KCWS offers immediate emergency shelter to anyone who is experiencing domestic violence. Our services include but are not limited to, case management, counseling, on-site pet shelter, food and nutrition, clothes, and support groups. Your participation will help raise awareness and allow KCWS to continue our life changing services.
The run will include a 5k run/walk and a 1-mile fun run. After the race enjoy music, a mini market, and fun activities for the kids on the Main Plaza Lawn!
The Mutt Strutt is for our 4 legged friends. They’ll get a bandana with their registration and get a chance to strutt their stuff across a 10 yard area. The winner of the Mutt Strutt gets a special prize from a local pet shop. Mutt Strutt takes place directly after the 5K Award Ceremony.
Registration Information
Pricing:
5K and Virtual: $30 until midnight 11/30/22
$35 until midnight 2/23/23
$40 on race day
1 Mile Fun Run: $20 until close of registration on race day. Option to purchase shirt, online, for $10
Kids age 4-9: $10 until close of registration on race day. Option to purchase shirt, online, for $10
Kids age 3 and under: FREE
Mutt Strutt: $20 for all our 4 legged friends that like to “strutt” Bandana included.
