On the radio this morning I heard a little blurb about new FDA regulations for sun screen labeling. Not much new here, the FDA always seems to be changing label requirements, but the quick web search I did to get more information did lead me to some alarming news! Did you know that runners are at increased risk of developing melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer?
If you’re like me and only remember to slap the sun screen on the most problematic areas (oh how I hate the raccoon look I get when I forget to apply to my nose and cheeks before running with sunglasses!), check out this article from the Skin Cancer Foundation. Next time I’m applying it to everywhere the sun does shine!
