Windcrest 9/11 Remembrance Race & 1 Mile Walk

Join us as the City of Windcrest honors our first responders and remembers those lost on September 11th 2001 in the Third Annual Windcrest 9/11 Remembrance Race.

 This race is for everyone.  You can walk or run, just come out and get active!

We have an adaptive category as well. 

Can’t attend, but want to support?  There’s a Sleepwalker option!  Stay home and run in your sleep.  It’s your way of supporting the first responders of the City of Windcrest.

 Stick around for the awards ceremony and light food.

All proceeds benefit the Windcrest Volunteer Fire Association and the Windcrest Police Department.

Overall Male/Female in the 5K

1st-3rd in age groups:

15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Top 2 Male/Female in Adaptive 5K 

This race will not be chip timed.  We will go old school and hand time this event.  You’ll receive an index card at the finish line.  Pay attention to your finish time and write it down on the index card.  Place it in your age group basket.  We’ll have volunteers there to help.
