At the Tour de Gruene Team Time Trial on Sunday, 31 October, Chris Payne & Mark Rau, members of Soler’s Racing, finished 1st in their age group in the Schnell class with a speed of 22.6 mph over a hilly 27.3 mile course in Gruene, TX.
Chris & Mark also finished 8th out of 58 teams in the Schnell class which includes ALL age categories. Additionally, Chris & Mark finished 7th out of 225 teams in the “Eddie Merckx”-style bikes. Eddie Merckx-style bikes means they had no aero equipment on their bikes nor wore any aero equipment or kits.
How about that for a couple old guys!!!!
