We will have a variety of different races for everyone. From the speed stars to the young ‘uns, there is a race just for you. Come test your speed and race on our downhill course.
Categories
Seeded boys H.S. Race– *to participate in this heat you must be able to run a 5:05 mile and have passing grades. Asics long sleeve tech shirt included in packet!
Seeded girls H.S. Race– *to participate in this heat you must be able to run a 5:50 mile and have passing grades. Asics long sleeve tech shirt included in packet!
Open Men– Open to all male participants. Asics long sleeve tech shirt included in packet! CASH prizes!
Open Women– Open to all female participants. Asics long sleeve tech shirt included in packet! CASH prizes!
Masters– Open to men and women masters participants. Asics long sleeve tech shirt included in packet! Cash prizes!
Predict a time– You predict your time when you register and attempt to run as close to your predicted time as possible (remember the course is downhill). No watches, garmins, iPods, or electronic devises permitted while running. The 5 participants with the most accurately predicted time will each win a $30 gift certificate to the store. Asics long sleeve tech shirt included in packet!
Gingerbread Half-Mile– A half-mile run for the kiddos age 12 and under. Running alongside and helping out your little speed star is encouraged and welcomed. All participants will get an AWESOME race shirt with registration!
*H.S. Athletes who don’t qualify for the seeded race are encouraged to participate in either the open men/women divisions or the Predict a time division.
After the race, join us for a rocking post-race party that the kiddos (and the rest of the family) will love! We will have a moon bounce, face painting, apple bobbing, and other fun games. Also, we hope you stay around to enjoy the City of Helotes Holiday Parade that begins at 7pm.

Packet pickup/race day: Gingerbread half-mile- $20; H.S.- $35; All others- $40

**Gingerbread half-mile shirts will not be technical shirts.
